Now for some poetry ...

... the faeries danced here late last night,
flashing heels in the cold moonlight,
silvery mantels cast around,
magic rings on the cold, cold ground!

Chr. Oh … Oh … won’t you come and dance,
dance, dance in the dead of night,
kick your heels, clap your hands,
your blood and your bones grew out of this land!
turn your face to the moon and stars,
remember who you really are!

The robin boy stands in a ring,
around him the faeries dance and sing,
his breast is red and runs with blood,
he gives his life for the common good!

Chr. Oh … Oh … won’t you come and dance,
dance, dance in the dead of night,
kick your heels, clap your hands,
your blood and your bones grew out of this land!
turn your face to the moon and stars,
remember who you really are!

The crazy seer with his feathers and bones
bangs his drum as the night winds moan,
chants of a future in a scream of rage
born from a past the suits betrayed!

Chr. Oh … Oh … won’t you come and dance,
dance, dance in the dead of night,
kick your heels, clap your hands,
your blood and your bones grew out of this land!
turn your face to the moon and stars,
remember who you really are!

You never can know, never can tell
when the faeries are in the dell
some there are that cross the worlds
on the back of a rhyme or a three hand reel!

Listen, listen, listen to their songs
their time is short their memory long
your story’s told in a fiddler’s rhyme
beaten in the steps of four, four time!

Chr. Oh … Oh … won’t you come and dance,
dance, dance in the dead of night,
kick your heels, clap your hands,
your blood and your bones grew out of this land!
turn your face to the moon and stars,
remember who you really are!
